New Parent Care and Education A postpartum doula provides information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, mother–baby bonding, infant soothing, and basic newborn care all while fostering confidence and independence and nurturing the entire family. The first weeks postpartum can be filled with joy, as well as apprehension, as you welcome your newborn babe. Assistance with preparation of nourishing meals, the creation of a well-organized home, place and time dedicated to self-nurturance and help with care of the entire family are all necessary in easing the adjustment that the birth of a baby creates. My goal is to empower you and teach you the skills needed to be as confident and functional as possible as you and your child begin your lives together.
Restorative Meals Planning and Preparation Eating healthily and regularly will help you regain and maintain the strength needed to care for yourself and your family. I use the freshest ingredients available, focusing on seasonal produce, to create meals that will re-energize your body and spirit. We’ll work together to create a personalized menu for your household. Your meals will be carefully prepared from scratch and conveniently stored in your fridge with instructions for you to heat and enjoy as you wish.
Prenatal Home Organization You’ll rest easier knowing that your home is orderly and ready to receive your new baby. Prepare the entire home, not just the nursery for the child’s arrival so you’ll have more time for the important work ahead--that of caring for your baby, yourself and your family. I assess which organization style works best for your personality and help you create a nurturing environment for you and your baby.
